A summer treat from India, salted limeade is a traditional, refreshing beverage. And it’s super simple to make! Serves 4!
- 5 to 6 tablespoons of lime juice
- ½ cup sugar, sugar substitute, agave, or your favorite sweetener
- 4 cups ice water
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ tsp cumin powder (optional)
- Mint leaves (optional)
In a large pitcher, combine the ice water, lime juice, salt, sugar, and cumin (if using). Whisk until sugar, salt, and cumin are dissolved. Pour into 4 individual glasses. Garnish with mint leaves (if using) and serve over ice.
